The Get Up Kids are an indie rock band from Kansas City. After a break-up in 2005, the band reunited and rocked the crowd at Soundwave 2010 in Sydney.
I’ve been a big fan of this band for a long time and was lucky to see them live in Amsterdam when they were at the top of the scene, before their break in 2005. It was good seeing them again, hearing all their older material that I listened to back in 1999-2000.
