The Weakerthans, a Canadian indie rock band that blends punk rock with folk rock play at the 2010 Soundwave Festival in Australia. The band is formed by former Propagandhi member John K Samson in 1997.
Propagandhi was one of the bands that got me into the faster music genre, so having the opportunity to see one of its former members, John K Samson, play live with his new band The Weakerthans, was something I was very much looking forward to.
They played a solid show, probably the quietest band to listen to on the day, and that probably showed in the crowd as it wasn’t that busy. I really enjoyed the show and was glad I finally got to see them live.
