Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Another day, another red carpet event in Sydney. This time it’s for the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie On Stranger Tides. Unfortunately none of the American stars walked the black carpet in Sydney, but luckily one of the movies’ stars is Australian and he was there: Geoffrey Rush.
Geoffrey plays Hector Barbossa in all four Pirates of the Carribean movies. In the latest instalment, he searches for the Fountain of Youth together with Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp). He flew back into Sydney straight from the Cannes Film Festival where the movie had its international premiere with the other stars of the movie: Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz.
As far as red carpets (or I should say black carpets) concern, this one was quite tame, not a lot of celebrities made it out for the night but it was great seeing Geoffrey Rush in town!
