This weekend was that magical time of the year again where all the freaks and geeks come out to The Dome at Olympic Park to see the best of the wonderful worlds of science-fiction, pulp TV/movies, toys, console gaming, trading cards, animation/cartoons, fantasy, comic books, entertainment technology, books, internet sites and fan-clubs.
Like last year, this year brought new celebrities and even more fans to come out, dressed up or not, to see all the action.
The celebrities this year are bigger than ever. There’s the I dream of Jeannie trio: Barbara Eden (Jeannie), Larry Hagman (Major Nelson, J R Ewing in Dallas) and Bill Daily (Roger Healy). For the younger visitors Harry Potter actor Tom Felton was signing DVD’s, posters and photos, as well as posing for photos with fans.
Other stars signing and posing were Amy Acker (Angel, Justice League Unlimited), James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Smallville, Torchwood), Julie White (Transformers), Richard Norton (The Octagon, Mr Nice Guy, Rage and Honour), Gareth David-Lloyd (Torchwood), Sean Maher (Firefly, Serenity), Danielle Harris (new Halloween series), Corin Nemec (Parker Lewis Can’t Lose, Stargate SG-1) and David Nykl (Stargate Atlantis).
Unfortunately the organisers were not too keen on photographers and flashes so it was tough to get some photos in.

Not only did I take photos of the celebrities, I made sure I photographed plenty of the Freaks and Geeks that went to the event, come back in the next few days for all the photos of the dressed up visitors!
