Australian Premiere of Horrible Bosses
Horrible Bosses is feeling the love in Australia with three separate red carpet events around the country. It all started last Sunday in Melbourne, next up was Sydney tonight and the last of the Australian tour will be Brisbane this coming Thursday.
In town to promote their latest movie, Jason Sudeikis, Jason Bateman and Charlie Day walked the red carpet in Sydney tonight. Almost stealing the show was Jason Sudeikis’ well-dressed bodyguard, constantly reporting to his watch. He never got out of character though he didn’t mind posing for a quick photo.
Some of the local celebrities on the red carpet tonight included Samara Weaving, Dan Ewing & Luda Kroiter, Lee Harding’s band The Patience Project, Packed to the Rafters’ George Houvardas (who unfortunately didn’t seem to have any time for his fans) and seven-time world champion surfer Layne Beachley.
In the comedy, Jason Bateman (Couples Retreat), Charlie Day (Going the Distance) and Jason Sudeikis (Hall Pass) star as three hapless workers who realize that the only way to make their daily grind more tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust. Quitting is not an option so, with the benefit of a few-too-many drinks and the dubious advice of a hustling ex-con, the three friends devise a convoluted and seemingly foolproof plan to rid themselves of their respective employers…permanently. But, even the best laid plans are only as foolproof as the brains behind them, Jennifer Aniston (He’s Just Not That Into You), Colin Farrell (Crazy Heart) and two-time Oscar winner Kevin Spacey (American Beauty, The Usual Suspects) star as the unbearable bosses and Oscar® winner Jamie Foxx (Ray) stars as the plotters’ unlikely mentor. The main cast also includes veteran actor Donald Sutherland and Julie Bowen (TV’s Modern Family).
Horrible Bosses opens in cinemas nationwide on Thursday, August 25.
