Live: Frank Turner at the Manning Bar in Sydney
Another amazing live concert at the Manning Bar in Sydney. It was only three months ago that Dashboard Confessional played a great set at the Manning Bar in Sydney and last night it was Frank Turner and the Sleepy Souls’ turn.
Frank Turner played an amazing show and absolutely rocked the crowd with his folk punk style of music.
He started as the vocalist for Million Dead back in 2000 but when the band split in 2005, Frank Turner moved on as a solo artist. Since then he has released four brilliant solo albums and, as he mentioned last night, is about to record another one. He played two new songs tonight “Tattoo” and “Dance”, I especially liked “Dance” which started of quiet but quickly turned into a melodic fast-paced gem.
I filmed three songs tonight and all three can be seen below: Love Ire & Song, Peggy Sang the Blues and Somebody to Love (Queen).
