Katy Perry: Part of Me Australian premiere
Katy Perry did a whirlwind trip to Australia last week to promote her movie Katy Perry: Part of Me. Thanks to the Australian Katy Perry fans and the power of Twitter, she walked the pink carpet at Event Cinemas, George Street in Sydney.
The pink carpet was rolled out for Katy and a big number of local celebrities on the Saturday night. Sydney’s winter chill could not stop hundreds of fans trying to catch a glimpse of Katy.
Now personally I never thought too much of Katy Perry other than that she makes very catchy pop music and likes cupcake outfits, but she gained a lot of respect after seeing her speak to pretty much every single fan lined up along the pink carpet. She posed for photos with a lot of the fans and signed many autographs that night.
Some of the local celebrities walking the pink carpet included Reece Mastin, the Voice contestants Sarah De Bono and Emma Birdsall, Ruby Rose, Ricki-Lee Coulter and more. Ruby Rose must have been a big Sarah De Bono fan as she got her back onto the pink carpet to get some media shots with her.
