Australian Premiere of Skyfall
Massive crowds turned up at the State Theatre in Sydney last week for the Australian Premiere of Skyfall.
Despite the rain, hundreds of fans lined up early to catch a glimpse of the film’s stars. That’s right, Daniel Craig, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe and the Bond producer Barbara Broccoli walked the red carpet in Sydney.
Screams could be heard when Daniel Craig arrived and, unlike Jeremy Renner, he took a lot of time for all the fans that showed up in the rain to see him. Not fussed by the rain himself he crossed the street from the red carpet to the crowd and signed cards and posters and also took a lot of photos with his fans. When he finally made it to the medial wall the photographers pushed around quite a bit. He didn’t stay for too long and quickly disappeared into the venue. Luckily the two gorgeous Bond Girls Naomie Harris and Bérénice Marlohe hung around for a while making the most of their red carpet adventure in Sydney. They also came back for some photos with James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli OBE.
Barbara started in the Bond franchise at the age of 17 in 1977. Since then she has worked her way up and has been producing the Bond movies since 1987’s The Living Daylights.
Along with the special Bond guests, some local celebrities also walked the red carpet, including Megan Gale, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, The Voice singers, Home & Away actors and more.
Daniel Craig also walked the red carpet in Sydney for Quantum of Solace in 2008.

Daniel Craig is back as Ian Fleming’s James Bond 007 in SKYFALL, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In SKYFALL, Bond’s loyalty to M is test as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, now matter how personal the cost.
