Sydney to Bathurst Drive
Weather forecast, few showers, nothing too worrying. The drive is happening rain, hail or shine so all good. Meeting point was in Penrith and the car park was full of amazing cars from old to brand new.
The cars included a beautiful Aston Martin Vanquish, brand new McLaren 50 12C Spider, Nissan GTR’s, Audi R8’s, Ferrari F430 Spider, a stunning red Aston Martin V8 Vantage, matte black Dodge Viper, Maserati GranTurismo and GranSport, a bright yellow Chevrolet Camaro SS and several others.
I was privileged to be a part of the drive day and spent the day with a good friend in his epic Maserati GranTurismo.
Not long after we left on our way to the Blue Mountains we noticed a severe weather warning on the news. By then we still had a bit of sun but had lost all the other cars. We finally caught up with the rest near the Three Sisters. From there it started to rain and it pretty much never stopped. From light drizzle to serious downpours, we had it all on the day!
Luckily no one really cared and all they wanted to do was go on a great drive with good mates. We made it to Bathurst and went around Mt Panorama where the Bathurst 12 Hour was held only a few weeks ago.
From there we had lunch nearby and drove back to Sydney to finish the day off with a few cold beers.
Below are my photos of the day, please get in touch with me if you want high quality photos of your car.
